Brandon Tucker

Certified Massage Therapist

I began studying massage to pursue personal goals. Fitness training was only getting me so far; I realized I had structural issues I had to sort out before moving forward. With bodywork techniques, I was able to find the tools that most worked on my own body and which would one day inform my practice on others.

My specialties are in deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and active stretching techniques. These combine together with long strokes that allow the client to doze off despite the depth of the work being performed. The rest that comes is no accident, but rather a regenerative effect of the work that I aim for, allowing the body to make much needed repairs on its own.

My style of massage is patient and fluid. It takes time to sink into the muscle and affect the kind of change that is needed for deep tissue work. The goal with this slowness is to avoid the pain that’s so often associated with deep tissue massage. Clients typically fall in and out of sleep over the course of a session and come to feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, relaxed. With routine work, I often see increased mobility in joints and an awareness of the body’s many interconnections. The end result is a sense of wholeness that will remain with you in your life after the session.
